Home of McMinn + Janzen Studio, this building was formerly a garage and workshop for the steel worker who previously occupied the property. Radiant heat in a polished concrete slab efficiently heats the 20’x20’ space, while simple desk to ceiling shelved house the books and binders of the practice. Another whole wall is dedicated to storage, while 3 rolling cabinets house further office supplies. Joists are left exposed and a simple metal stair leads to a 2nd floor attic space. The large swinging garage doors have been kept operable and the historic exterior pressed metal cladding retained.
